In part 1, We have already discussed the concept of 72 virgins (houri) and their characteristics on the basis of the Quran. Now we will see the hadiths which are used by mullahs to explain this concept.

Shaykh Gibril Haddad is a hadith expert (muhaddith), recognized as one of the world’s leading authorities on the Shari’ah. In 2009, he was listed amongst the inaugural "500 most influential Muslims in the world,". The following borrows mainly from a 2005 fatwa issued by him [1].

حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، حَدَّثَنَا نُعَيْمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا بَقِيَّةُ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ بَحِيرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ، عَنِ الْمِقْدَامِ بْنِ مَعْدِيكَرِبَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏ "‏ لِلشَّهِيدِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ سِتُّ خِصَالٍ يُغْفَرُ لَهُ فِي أَوَّلِ دَفْعَةٍ وَيَرَى مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَيُجَارُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ وَيَأْمَنُ مِنَ الْفَزَعِ الأَكْبَرِ وَيُوضَعُ عَلَى رَأْسِهِ تَاجُ الْوَقَارِ الْيَاقُوتَةُ مِنْهَا خَيْرٌ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا وَيُزَوَّجُ اثْنَتَيْنِ وَسَبْعِينَ زَوْجَةً مِنَ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ وَيُشَفَّعُ فِي سَبْعِينَ مِنْ أَقَارِبِهِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ ‏.‏
Narrated Al-Miqdam bin Ma'diykarib:
That the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There are six things with Allah for the martyr. He is forgiven with the first flow of blood (he suffers), he is shown his place in Paradise, he is protected from punishment in the grave, secured from the greatest terror, the crown of dignity is placed upon his head - and its gems are better than the world and what is in it - he is married to seventy two wives along Al-Huril-'Ayn of Paradise, and he may intercede for seventy of his close relatives."
[Abu 'Eisa said:] This Hadith is Hasan Sahih.

अल-मिक्दम बिन मादियारिब द्वारा सुनाई गई:

कि अल्लाह के दूत (ﷺ) ने कहा: "शहीद के लिए अल्लाह के साथ छह चीजें हैं। उसे रक्त के पहले प्रवाह के साथ माफ किया जाता है (वह पीड़ित है), उसे स्वर्ग में अपना (उसका) स्थान दिखाया गया है,उसे कब्र की सजा से बचाया गया है, सबसे बड़े आतंक से सुरक्षित, गरिमा का ताज उसके सिर पर रखा गया है - और इसके (ताज के) रत्न दुनिया से बेहतर हैं और इसमें (ताज में) जो कुछ भी है - वह स्वर्ग की अल-हरिल -'एएन (हूरों) के साथ बहत्तर पत्नियों से विवाहित है, और वह अपने करीबी सत्तर रिश्तेदारों के लिए हस्तक्षेप कर सकता है। ”

حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، وَمَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، عَنْ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ ‏"‏ يُعْطَى الْمُؤْمِنُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ قُوَّةَ كَذَا وَكَذَا مِنَ الْجِمَاعِ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَوَيُطِيقُ ذَلِكَ قَالَ ‏"‏ يُعْطَى قُوَّةَ مِائَةٍ ‏"‏ ‏.‏ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ قَتَادَةَ عَنْ أَنَسٍ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ عِمْرَانَ الْقَطَّانِ ‏.‏

Anas narrated that the Prophet (s.a.w) said: "The believer shall be given in paradise such and such strength in intercourse ." it was said: "O Messenger of Allah! And will he able to do that?" He said: "He will be given the strength of a hundred."

अनस ने बताया कि पैगंबर ने कहा:"आस्तिक को स्वर्ग में संभोग में ऐसी शक्ति दी जाएगी।" यह कहा गया था: "अल्लाह के रसूल! और क्या वह ऐसा कर पाएंगे?" उसने कहा: "उसे सौ की ताकत दी जाएगी।"
It was narrated from Zayd ibn Arqam that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “A man among the people of Paradise will be given the strength of a hundred men for eating, drinking, desire and sexual intercourse. A man among the Jews said, ‘The one who eats or drinks needs to excrete!’ The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to him: ‘The excretion of any one of them will be in the form of sweat which comes out through his skin, then his stomach will reduce in size again.’” (Narrated by Ahmad, no. 18509; al-Daarimi, no. 2704) [3]
It was collected by Ahmad (4/367, 371) and others with an authentic chain. Ibn al-Qayyim authenticated it in Haadee al-Arwaah (p.187), as did Al-Albaanee in Saheeh at-Targheeb (#3739).
ज़ायेद इब्न अर्कम से यह वर्णन किया गया कि अल्लाह के रसूल (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) ने कहा: “स्वर्ग के लोगों में से एक आदमी को खाने, पीने, इच्छा और संभोग के लिए सौ आदमियों की ताकत दी जाएगी ।यहूदियों के बीच के एक व्यक्ति ने कहा, 'जो खाता है या पीता है उसे मलोत्सर्ग करने की जरूरत है!' अल्लाह के रसूल (सल्लल्लाहु अलैहि व सल्लम) ने उससे कहा: 'उनमें से किसी एक का निकलना पसीने के रूप में होगा जो उसकी त्वचा से होकर निकलता है, तो उसका पेट फिर से आकार में कम हो जाएगा।'

Argument of Muslim mullahs: मुस्लिम मुल्लाओं का तर्क
1. White Rasins: सफेद किशमिश
This claim originated from Christoph Luxenberg, a modern author writing under a pseudonym. He suggests that the term houri actually meant to describe "white raisins" .and that the Aramaic word 'hur' (white raisin) had been mistranslated by later Arab commentators into the Arabic word 'houri' (virgin). The Quran describes the physical characteristics of the houri in many places, such as, large eyes, big breasts,chaste, and restraining their glances.[ The Quran further states that men will be wed to these houri. These relevant verses suggest that Luxenberg's "white rasins" theory is in error.
इस दावे की उत्पत्ति क्रिस्टोफ लक्सबर्ग से हुई थी, जो एक छद्म नाम के तहत लिखने वाले आधुनिक लेखक थे। उनका सुझाव है कि हाउरी शब्द का अर्थ वास्तव में "सफेद किशमिश" का वर्णन करना था। और यह कि अरामी शब्द 'हर्ट' (सफेद किशमिश) को बाद के अरब टीकाकारों ने अरबी शब्द 'हूरी' (कुंवारी) में गलत समझा था।कुरान कई स्थानों में हूरों की शारीरिक विशेषताओं का वर्णन करता है, जैसे कि बड़ी आँखें, बड़े स्तन, पवित्र। कुरान में कहा गया है कि पुरुषों को इन हूरों के पास भेज दिया जाएगा। इन प्रासंगिक छंदों से पता चलता है कि लक्सबर्ग का "सफेद रासिन" सिद्धांत में त्रुटि है।
2.Virgins are only mentioned in hadith not Quran: हूर केवल हदीस में वर्णित है कुरान नहीं :
Although the Quran does not mention the exact number of virgins, it does state that Muslim men will be awarded with (multiple) virgins in heaven.The Quran describes some of their physical attributes and personality traits. The number of houri are confirmed in multiple hadiths. Also worth noting is that hadiths are a crucial part of Islam but can be ignored by certain Muslims who disagree with hadiths on details about Islam.
हालाँकि कुरान में हूरों की सही संख्या का उल्लेख नहीं है, लेकिन यह बताता है कि मुस्लिम पुरुषों को स्वर्ग में (हूरों) कुंवारी महिलाओं के साथ सम्मानित किया जाएगा। कुरान उनके कुछ शारीरिक गुणों और व्यक्तित्व लक्षणों का वर्णन करता है। कई हदीसों में हूरों की संख्या की पुष्टि की जाती है। यह भी ध्यान देने योग्य है कि हदीस इस्लाम का एक महत्वपूर्ण हिस्सा है, लेकिन कुछ मुस्लिमों द्वारा इसे नजरअंदाज किया जा सकता है जो इस्लाम के बारे में हदीसों से असहमत हैं।
3.Houri are only servants and not for sexual purposes: हूरें केवल नौकर हैं और यौन उद्देश्यों के लिए नहीं:
The Quran details that houri are chaste virgins that have big breasts.[Quran 56:36] While the Quran does not explicitly state they are for sexual purposes this is mentioned in other Islamic sources. One source state (hasan hadith [2,3]) that "that man in heaven will have the sexual strength of 100 men for sex in heaven".
कुरान का विवरण है कि हूरें पवित्र कुंवारी हैं जिनके बड़े स्तन हैं। [कुरान 56:36] जबकि कुरान स्पष्ट रूप से यह नहीं बताता है कि वे यौन उद्देश्यों के लिए हैं, इसका उल्लेख अन्य इस्लामी स्रोतों में किया गया है। एक स्रोत में कहा गया है (हसन हदीस [2,3]) कि "स्वर्ग में आदमी के पास स्वर्ग में सेक्स के लिए 100 पुरुषों की यौन शक्ति होगी"।

4.Houri are for both men and women: हूरें पुरुषों और महिलाओं दोनों के लिए हैं:

The Quran indicates that houris will be "untouched before them by both man and jinni" [Quran 55:74] Implying that they are females that are awarded to men.

कुरान इंगित करता है कि हूरें "जिन्हें उनसे पहले न किसी पुरुष ने हाथ लगाया होगा और न किसी जिन्न ने" [कुरान - 55:74] इसका मतलब है कि वे महिलाएं हैं जिन्हें पुरुषों को सेक्स के लिए दिया जाना है।

Use of this concept for terrorism by mullahs: मुल्लाओं द्वारा आतंकवाद के लिए इस अवधारणा का उपयोग:

Suicide is clearly forbidden in Islam [Qur'an, 4:29-30], but the permissibility of Istishhad (martyrdom) has scholars split on the issue.The Quran states that all Muslim males, not only martyrs, will be rewarded with virgins.[Quran 56:36] However, the Quran does also mention that those who fight in the way of Allah (jihad) and get killed will be given a "great reward",[Quran 4:74]. This has lead to the 72 virgins concept being widely used as a way to entice martyrdom. This phenomena can be witnessed in Palestine, where the actions of a mother who sends her son to die as a martyr is sometimes seen as "marrying him off",[https://palwatch.org/database/35] and where the concept is used in Friday sermons and music videos, both airing on official television. [https://palwatch.org/database/35] 

इस्लाम में आत्महत्या की स्पष्ट रूप से मनाही है [कुरान,4:29-30], लेकिन इतिशाद (शहादत) की  ने इस मुद्दे पर विद्वानों को विभाजित कर दिया है।कुरान में कहा गया है कि सिर्फ़ शहीदों को ही नहीं, सभी मुस्लिम पुरुषों को, कुंवारी हूरों से पुरस्कृत किया जाएगा।हालाँकि, कुरान यह भी उल्लेख करता है कि जो लोग अल्लाह (जिहाद) के रास्ते में लड़ते हैं और मारे जाते हैं उन्हें "विशेष इनाम" दिया जाएगा [कुरान,4:74],इससे 72 कुंवारी हूरों की अवधारणा को व्यापक रूप से शहादत को लुभाने के लिए इस्तेमाल किया जा रहा है।इस घटना को फिलिस्तीन में देखा जा सकता है, जहां एक माँ जो उसके बेटे को शहीद के रूप में मरने के लिए भेजती हैं, उन्हें कभी-कभी " शादी करने" के रूप में देखा जाता है, और जहां इस अवधारणा का उपयोग शुक्रवार के उपदेश और संगीत वीडियो (दोनों आधिकारिक टेलीविजन पर प्रसारित) में किया जाता है।

Collected by at-Tirmithee (#2536) and others. At-Tirmithee authenticated it, as did Ibn al-Qayyim in Haadee al-Arwaah (p.232) and Al-Albaanee.  At-Tirmithee entitled the chapter: “What Has Been Reported About the Sexual Intercourse of the People in Paradise.” 
"Each time we sleep with a Houri we find her virgin. Besides, the penis of the Elected never softens. The erection is eternal; the sensation that you feel each time you make love is utterly delicious and out of this world and were you to experience it in this world you would faint. Each chosen one [i.e. Muslim] will marry seventy [sic] houris, besides the women he married on earth, and all will have appetizing vaginas." - Al-Suyuti, Al-Itqan fi Ulum al-Qur'an, p. 351
जामी अत-तिर्मिज़ी (अरबी : جامع الترمذي, जामी'-तिर्मिज़ी), जिसे सुनन-तिर्मिज़ी (अरबी : سنن الترمذي, सुनान एत-तिर्मिज़ी) के नाम से भी जाना जाता है, कुतुब अल-सित्ताह (छह प्रमुख हदीस संग्रह)। यह अबू 'इसा मोहम्मद इब्न' इसा ए-तिर्मिज़ी द्वारा एकत्र किया गया था। उन्होंने वर्ष 250 हिजरी (ई 864/5) के बाद इसे संकलित करना शुरू किया और 10 ज़ु-अल-हिजजाह 270 हिजरी (ई 884, 9 जून) पर इसे पूरा किया। इसमें 3,956 अहादीस (हदीस का बहुवचन) शामिल है, और उन्हें पचास अध्यायों में बांटा गया है। इसे एक सुनन के रूप में भी वर्गीकृत किया गया है, जिसका अर्थ यह है कि इस पुस्तक को कानूनी अध्यायों, जैसे शुद्धिकरण, प्रार्थना, भिक्षादान और उपवास के अनुसार अध्याय बनाया गया है, इस्लामी पैगंबर मुहम्मद के अधिकार पर वर्णित है, जबकि आमतौर पर साथी की राय होती है, उल्लेखित नहीं है।
